Mole Screening
Peels Pampers and Aesthetics, working with Consultant Dermatologists, is an official Map My Mole provider.
How does mole screening work?
1. You'll be asked some questions about your skin and your mole / lesion.
2. A series of images of your skin will be taken using a medical dermatoscope, along with detailed images of your mole or lesion.
3. A consultant Dermatologist at Map My Mole will review your answers and images. Within 48 hours, you'll receive a detailed report with their findings and advice on what steps to take next.
4. If the Consultant thinks the mole or lesion is of concern, they'll ask you to contact your GP. Map My Mole will also phone you to check that you have read and understood your report.
What are the benefits of using this service?
1. Evening appointments available so you don't need to take time off work during the day for a GP appointment.
2. Peace of mind knowing your skin lesion has been professionally assessed.
3. Connect with a leading UK Consultant Dermatologist.
4. No waiting for a GP to refer you to a Dermatologist. Most GPs will take the action recommended by our Dermatologist without needing to see your first.
